Healthy Athletes Initiatives: Mechanics Hall

Saturday, March 13th, 11:30-5:00pm

SOMA’s Healthy Athletes Program is proud to offer free health screenings in hearing (Healthy Hearing), podiatry (Fit Feet) and physical therapy (Fun Fitness).  This will be the largest screening event that Massachusetts has offered and it should be fun and educational for all who participate.

Healthy Athletes: What you should know

Healthy Athlete Screenings are a great way to utilize any free time teams or athletes may have Saturday late morning/afternoon.  Going through all three non-invasive screenings will take a little over an hour (although some athletes may choose to only participate in select screenings).   Athletes will have the opportunity to challenge themselves in several interactive stations and everyone who participates will receive educational resources, including “Athlete Scorecards” that they can take home to report their health needs to their families/caretakers. The screenings are non-invasive, fun and aimed at helping athletes become healthier and better at their sport!  Transportation will be provided from certain venues to Healthy Athletes at Mechanics Hall, contact Stephanie Savarese for more details.
